Richard B. Cravener - Special Advisor
Mr. Cravener began his career in 1972 and held a range of key managerial positions including Assistant Chief Patrol Agent
of the INS Border Patrol Academy, Assistant District Director for investigation in Philadelphia, Deputy District Director in
the Washington D.C. Field Office, Director of Parole in the Office of Foreign Operations, and INS
Attaché to the American Embassy and Consulate General in Rome and Hong Kong respectively. In August 1997, Mr. Cravener
was appointed as the Director of the INS "Anti-Exploitation Task Force" where he spearheaded the investigation
and assisted in the formulation of national policy regarding the exploitation and slavery of undocumented
aliens in this country. He was appointed as Director of the Houston District Office in 1996 until his retirement in
2001. From 2001 to 2002 he was the Director of Restructuring & Transition, U.S. INS, Washington, D.C.
Currently, he is a Special Advisor to George R. Willy, P.C.
