Biography:
Mr. Truesdale has been in the Government Service for 32 years.
He began his career with the US Immigration &
Naturalization Service as a Border Patrol Agent at
Laredo
,
Texas
and worked at Brownsville Laredo, and
Cotulla
,
Texas
for approximately 4.5 years.
He was then transferred to
New York City
where he worked as a Criminal Investigator in the department of
Justice, Investigations Branch, Immigration and Naturalization
Service for approximately 2.5 years.
Thereafter, he was transferred to
Buffalo
,
New York
where he worked as Criminal Investigator, Supervisory Criminal
Investigator, Assistant District Director for Investigations [Chief
of Investigations], Deputy District Director and District Director
[Acting]. He was the Deputy Director and District Director for the
last nine years of his Federal Service. During
his tenure, the Buffalo District managed all of New York State
[except New York City and surrounding Counties] which includes 17
Border Ports of Entry
and 2 Pre-Flight Stations at Montreal, Quebec and Toronto,
Ontario and was responsible for all US Immigration Service
matters in those areas of the Provinces of Ontario and Quebec that
abut New York State. The Buffalo District also inspected
approximately 17 million applicants for admission per year and
adjudicated hundreds of thousands of Applications and Petitions for
benefits under the US Immigration Laws per year, including
approximately 70,000 Petitions and Applications per year for the New
York District.
He has worked extensively with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police [RCMP],
the Provincial Police of the Provinces of Ontario and
Quebec
, and the Regional Police within the Buffalo Area of Jurisdiction as
well as with Canadian Immigration and Customs often at the highest
levels.
He has also worked with the Garda in Southern Ireland, the Royal
Ulster Constabulary in
Northern Ireland
, Scotland Yard [Metropolitan London Police] and other Police and
Security Forces abroad.
Since retirement from Federal Service, he started his own
Immigration Consulting, Physician Recruitment, and Economic
Development Corporation, staffed with Attorney's at Law, former INS
Employees, former Municipal Department Heads in the area of Economic
Development, and Physicians in the
United States
and abroad, particularly
Canada
,
Ireland
, The United Kingdom,
Germany
and
South Africa
.
Currently, he is a Special Advisor on US Canadian Border Issues to
George R. Willy, P.C
